Production Engineering is a company that was born out of the desire to serve as a focal point for the integration of multimedia content and location aware software and hardware.

Our primary goals are to develop, test, and implement integrated spatial information technology solutions for a variety of vertical markets.

Our technology philosophy is to design the most robust and low maintenance solution to enhance our clients capabilities.

Principal's Background

Jonathan Lang has been involved with cutting edge Information Technology, Communications, and Content Production methodology for over thirty years.

Some of the technology projects and adventures that Jon has enjoyed being part of are listed below:

• Assigned to the satellite communications section of the United States Military Joint Communications Service Element (JCSE), recipient of a Joint Meritorious Unit Award
• Network systems engineer for the first commercial Vsat data satellite company, Equatorial Communications, Mountain View CA
• Design, and implementation of Digital Equipment Corporation's (DEC) corporate broadband backbone and satellite network
• R&D and testing of ESRI ArcIMS system for University of Connecticut's Map and Geographic Information Center (MAGIC)
• NASA Earth Science Enterprise Remote Sensing Scientific Data Purchase Program Award
• NASA Connecticut Space Grant College Consortium EPSCoR Fellow, residence at Applied Information Sciences Branch, Goddard Space Flight Center, Code 935
