LabNavigator
List Price $1249.00

The LabNavigator has 4 ports on the back of the instrument for sensors, a USB for additional sensors like GPS and our infrared thermometer, and two digital ports on the side of other accessories. It accepts each of the Auto-ID sensors in any position in any combination. Each of the sensors will auto-ID itself to the instrument and load the stored calibration (one is completed at the factory just before shipment, of it will bring up your latest calibration).

Once you plug a sensor into the instrument it will being displaying your readings immediately. As you plug additional sensors into the instrument, more readings are displayed. At this point, you can press the start button/grab data button and it will collect a single point of data - or you can set up the instrument to collect data over a period of time.

As you are collecting data, or after (your choice), you can select the graph tab and view your data in a graph format - there are many options, one graph/two graphs/analysis of the data and more. You can view your data in table format in the table tab. You can review your method in the method tab, or you can record notes in the notes tab. You can even record your voice notes with the built-in microphone and speaker for playback. It really is that simple. Plug and play sensors, stored calibration, auto-ID and much more all in one instrument.

Global Posisioning System [GPS]
List Price $148.00

The Forston Labs GPS sensor collects latitude, longitude, and altitude, right on your LabNavigator. See a real-time graph of latitude vs. longitude, or export the data to various mapping programs, including Google Maps. This sensor connects directly to the USB port on the LabNavigator.

General Purpose pH Sensor
List Price $178.00

General purpose, full range pH sensor is an Ag/AgCl single junction electrode. Includes a convenient soaking bottle and storage solution. Each electrode is shipped individually calibrated (each sensor has a unique factory slope and intercept). It is standard good lab practice to calibrate your pH electrode after each storage period, regardless of duration.

Full Range Heavy Duty pH Sensor
List Price $225.00

Full range, heavy duty pH sensor is an Ag/AgCl double junction electrode. Includes a convenient soaking cap and reference refilling solution and a sensing element guard for use when breakage is a concern. This high performance electrode addresses the common problem of contamination and clogging of the reference junction which can affect lesser electrodes. The unique design assures trouble-free and reliable measurements in samples as diverse as waste water, wine, cheese and mineral leachates.

Flat pH Sensor
List Price $202.00

Flat tip, tris-compatible pH sensor is a Ag/AgCl double junction electrode. This new specialty pH Sensor uses a double-junction electrode, making it compatible with Tris buffers and solutions containing proteins. The flat glass shape also makes it ideal for measuring the pH of semisolids such as food or soil. Includes a convenient soaking bottle and storage solution. Every sensor is individually calibrated prior to shipment.

Conductivity Sensor
List Price $181.00

The conductivity sensor uses a two graphite plate sensing element and is automatically temperature compensated.

The Conductivity Probe is great for environmental testing for total dissolved solids (TDS), conductivity, or salinity in water samples.

The Conductivity Probe can monitor concentration or conductivity at three different sensitivity settings.

The probe has a fast response time, reaching 98% of full value in less than 5 seconds. You can load saved calibrations using the LabNavigator. Alternatively, you can do a quick two-point calibration: the probe is left out of solution for one calibration point (0 µS/cm) and is placed in a known standard (1000 µS/cm solution is provided) for a second calibration point. More precise calibration in two different standards is also possible using our software.

The Conductivity Probe uses alternating current at its electrodes; this prevents polarization and electrolysis, so that solutions being tested are not fouled. Corrosion of metal electrodes is not a problem with this epoxy-body graphite electrode. It has built-in temperature compensation, which allows you to do your calibrations in the lab, and then make measurements outdoors without temperature changes affecting conductivity readings.

Dissolved Oxygen
List Price $458.00

The dissolved oxygen sensor includes automatic temperature compensation and has a fast response time to changes in dissolved oxygen.

Each unit incudes a zero-oxygen solution, two membrane caps, a 100% calibration bottle, and electrode filling solution. Replacement membrane caps are available (order code: NavDO-012A)

You can make fast, accurate measurements of dissolved oxygen concentration in water samples using our Dissolved Oxygen Probe. This probe has a range of 0 to 14 mg/L (ppm) of dissolved oxygen. It has built-in temperature compensation, which means you can do your calibrations in the lab, and then make measurements outdoors without having to recalibrate. The probe has a fast response time, reaching 95% of full reading in 30 seconds.

You may have heard how difficult it can be to change membranes on other dissolved oxygen probes. This is not the case with our Dissolved Oxygen Probe--disposable caps with pre-fit membranes allow you to quickly and conveniently change membranes. An extra membrane cap is included with each probe.

Calibration is easy with this sensor. Simply place the electrode in the zero-oxygen solution provided with the probe for the 0% calibration point. For the 100% calibration point, place the electrode in air (or better yet, in water-saturated air, using the provided calibration bottle). The probe can be calibrated in any units you choose: % Dissolved Oxygen, mg/L, or ppm dissolved oxygen

Ammonium Ion Selective Electrode
List Price $396.00

Ion-Selective Electrodes (ISEs) are double junction combination electrodes and do not require an external reference electrode.

The Ammonium Ion-Selective Electrode measures levels of ammonium ions. It can also indicate aqueous ammonia levels if sample solutions are acidified to convert NH3 to NH4+.

Electrodes are combination-style, non-refillable, and gel-filled.

It is important for you to know that ISE membranes have a limited life expectancy; however, the replaceable module of Forston Labs ISEs allows you to simply discard the used one, and replace it with a new module. We recommend that you do not purchase replacement modules far in advance of their expected time of use, as their life expectancy is limited as well.

Two calibration standards and a short-term soaking bottle are included.

Calcium Ion Selective Electrode
List Price $396.00

Ion-Selective Electrodes (ISEs) are double junction combination electrodes and do not require an external reference electrode.

This electrode gives a good indication of hardness of water (as Ca2+). It is also used as an endpoint indicator in EDTA-Ca/Mg hardwater titrations.

Electrodes are combination-style, non-refillable, and gel-filled.

It is important for you to know that ISE membranes have a limited life expectancy; however, the replaceable module of Forston Labs ISEs allows you to simply discard the used one, and replace it with a new module. Chloride Ion Selective Electrode
List Price $396.00

Ion-Selective Electrodes (ISEs) are double junction combination electrodes and do not require an external reference electrode. Chloride is a Solid-State ISE electrodes with a non-replaceable membrane that does not need to be replaced.

The Chloride Ion-Selective Electrode gives a quick measurement of salinity of water samples. It can even measure chloride levels in ocean saltwater or salt in food samples.

Electrodes are combination-style, non-refillable, and gel-filled.

Two calibration standards and a short-term soaking bottle are included.

Nitrate Ion Selective Electrode

Ion-Selective Electrodes (ISEs) are double junction combination electrodes and do not require an external reference electrode. Chloride is a Solid-State ISE electrodes with a non-replaceable membrane that does not need to be replaced.

Nitrate ion concentration is an important parameter in nearly all water quality studies. Nitrates can be introduced by acidic rainfall, fertilizer runoff from fields, and plant or animal decay or waste.
